The decision on transition to an electronic form of purchases was connected with the strategy of JSC Zarubezhneft directed to increase in efficiency of a purchasing system of the company. Implementation of this strategy will allow JSC Zarubezhneft to reduce the cost of the purchased products and services due to open competition among thousands of Russian and foreign companies.

The choice of an electronic trading system was performed on the basis of competitive selection. Criteria, important for JSC Zarubezhneft, – experience in the e-commerce market, the number of suppliers, the number of the held auction and their effectiveness were taken into consideration. The winner recognized the electronic system of B2B-Center with nine-year experience in the market. In a System more than 67 thousand suppliers from 87 countries of the world already work. It should be noted that until the end of the year the company is going to transfer to electronic marketplace from 10% up to 20% of the general annual purchasing amount.
