The city administration of Monchegorsk increased quantity of jobs in EDMS up to 50

The Lank Sistems system integrator together with Inforcer North company BOSS-Referent in city administration of Monchegorsk carried out upgrade of the electronic document management system (EDMS): in a system the quantity of jobs was increased and the functionality is expanded.

The leaders of the municipal entity became interested in implementation of electronic document management more than a year ago, then in 10 workplaces the Inforcer North company (Murmansk) implemented EDMS "BOSS-Referent" on the Lotus IBM platform. Since then a system was densely integrated into work of administration therefore a number of new requirements to a system was revealed: the translation of all documentation in an electronic form, increase in control of performing discipline, redistribution of flows of documents.

Specialists of Lank Sistems company with the partner - Inforcer North company conducted examination of a current status of an automated system, business processes and routes of the movement of documents in administration, took into account wishes and comments of users, studied the reporting documents used at the time of inspection. As a result specialists of Lank Sistems company together with employees Inforcer North prepared offers on adaptation of a system under needs of administration of Monchegorsk and works on upgrade of EDMS are carried out.

As a result of project implementation the quantity of jobs in EDMS increased to 50, the server according to new routes of documents was recustomized. Training of staff of administration and trial operation of a system became the final stage. At present all new users actively work in a system. All entering and outgoing documentation is transferred to EDMS. Control of performing discipline improved.

Further the city administration of Monchegorsk is going to increase the number of licenses and to transfer to an electronic form work with documents in each workplace.
