On January 26-27, 2010 in Moscow area the 2nd conference "Solutions for business took place: banks and finance" for top managers of banks and financial structures. The Biay Telecom company acted as her partner and submitted the report "Experience of implementation of pilot BPM projects on the Lombardi Teamworks platform in large retail Bank of Russia".
The main idea of a conference – dialog of business and IT in the bank industry: as information technologies can promote increase in efficiency of banking business, optimization, cost reduction and development. The concept of BPM, as well as possible, is suitable for implementation of this idea.
Making the report, Tkachyov Roman is a deputy CEO, the operating officer of Biay Telecom – showed on the example of a business model of one of the largest American banks Wells Fargo of advantage of approaches which allowed it to take the leading place in the conditions of financial crisis. Leadership in application of Business Process Management Suite (BPM systems) which gives opportunities of modeling, execution and optimization as unique business processes (for implementation of unique competitive strategy), and standard became one of decisive factors. The world analytical agencies Gartner and Forrester allocate a leading position among Business Process Management Suite for the Lombardi Teamworks system.
Projects on implementation of BPM and business process automation are kept also in Russia. R. Tkachyov told about several of largest implemented in VTB 24 bank. The bank was faced by a problem of transition to more perfect, flexible IT infrastructure for the purpose of faster reaction to market changes and permanent business process optimization for reduction of operating costs and performance improvement of work of employees. As the platform Lombardi Teamworks – the BPM system having the most successful implementations in the world in the similar companies was selected.
Roman drew the attention of listeners that practical demonstration of BPM systems is possible within PoC (Proof of Concept) – small pilot projects for potential Customers within whom in a BPM system for a short time (2-5 days) business process, relevant for the Customer, with necessary user reports is automated.
The report was listened with great interest, and the idea of BPM got a ready response among conferees – heads of different business divisions of banks and Chief information officers of the bank industry.
