Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications vnedryono in OTP Bank (Ukraine)

The RDTECH company completed the project on system implementation of creation of the management reporting on the basis of Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA) in one of the largest banks of Ukraine.

JSC OTP Bank is one of leaders of the financial sector of Ukraine and enters ten the largest banks of the country. From the moment of the basis it proved as bank innovator, aiming to use all advantages of the latest technologies both in work with clients, and for the purpose of optimization of internal processes. In the task list of the highest priority the directorate of Bank entered the project of creation of a system of the management reporting for ensuring effective in-band management. The contractor of this project selected the RDTECH company having long-term experience in this sphere.

The complex of analytical solutions of Oracle for performance management of financial institutions was implemented by specialists RDTECH in JSC OTP Bank in August, 2011, and today is successfully transferred to commercial operation. According to the results of the Bank project received the system allowing business users to make the weighed and timely management decisions on the basis of the reports created by a system. Users of the new software solution are managers of all levels. Thus, the created analytical tool has a direct impact on all spheres of business of Bank.

As a result of system implementation the Bank had an opportunity to receive reports with different extent of detailing - as aggregated data of the top level, for example, the general profitability indicators of the different directions of business, and information on separate products / clients. Obtaining reports on profitability of each separate sales point allows to keep track of dynamics of results of a branch network quickly. Thus, a new system on the basis of OFSAA provides receipt of exact and detailed analytical information of different levels that, in turn, increases the speed and quality of acceptance of management decisions.

During this project tasks of calculation of profitability and distribution of administrative expenses which assumed implementation of loading of information from the data warehouse in a system, setup of rules of measure calculation of profitability under the set purposes and development of sample reports were solved.

Implementation of the module of distribution of administrative expenses allowed JSC OTP Bank to create a transparent control system of expenses and also to qualitatively change approach to planning process of costs. Upon completion of the project RDTECH carried out training of key staff in work with this system.

Creation of the systems of the management reporting in integration with the data warehouse is one of the main activities of RDTECH company. Similar solutions were successfully implemented in VTB bank and Surgutneftegazbank. At the moment specialists RDTECH execute projects of creation of the data warehouse in Prominvestbank (Ukraine) and Kaspi Bank (Kazakhstan). In Ukraine the OTP system of Bank submits the project executed on the basis of Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications, a new complex of analytical solutions for the performance management of financial institutions developing a product line of Oracle Financial Services Application.
