EMC Documentum D2

On November 7, 2011, within the annual conference for partners and users of products and solutions for management of corporate maintenance of Momentum Europe, EMC announced the conclusion of the exclusive licensing agreement with the long partner and software developer for management of corporate maintenance (ECM) by the French firm C6. Thanks to this agreement of EMC will deliver EMC Documentum D2 – the application for fast creation of solutions for work with contents. This solution available from now on will help analysts quickly and without programming to arrange functionality of the ECM application for tasks of the business.

Providing simple and powerful tools of the user, support of Choice Computing and providing access from mobile devices are crucial elements of aspiration of EMC to support the New User (New User) who is understood as the modern information worker (today knowledge) capable to define when where and how to get an information access and to interact with it using different devices at the choice. Earlier this year the company released the EMC Documentum Mobile application for Apple iPad which provides to users irrespective of where they are, full-fledged functionality of a corporate class. Today's announcement of EMC once again proves success of implementation of its strategy for simplification of work of users of Documentum. The new functionality improves productivity of information workers who can easily configure the interface under specific objectives.

EMC Documentum D2: new approach of application programming for content management

Documentum D2 provides fast creation and implementing solutions for work with contents.
