The Xerox company announced in November, 2011 the beginning of sales in the Russian market of a line of the high-speed color book Microbox book2net scanners which are successfully used more than in 3000 organizations worldwide. Upgrade of the Russian universities, libraries and research institutes – one of priority problems of development of the Russian Federation. Within the national Education project the state invests large funds for formation and updating of IT infrastructure of educational institutions, including for implementation of the tools directed to creation of electronic funds of scientific and public libraries and also to digitization of archive documents.
