I-Teco and Sportloto: new opportunities for prizes

The I-Teco company, the leading Russian supplier of complex IT solutions and consulting services, held testing of the new game system "Sportloto" deployed based on the advanced software in the field of a draw of lotteries.

Despite deadlines and lack of broad practice of testing of the lottery systems in the market, I-Teco successfully coped with a task. In 10 years of work in the field of testing the company saved up unique examination and executed more than hundred projects on testing of the information systems which are every minute processing huge number of transactions. In particular, I-Teco has long-term experience of conducting testing of the automated banking systems (ABS) for the largest financial institutions of the country, including Sberbank of Russia.

Within this project specialists of I-Teco completely developed the unique testing methodology: prepared and approved the list of the transactions which are subject to testing; created in the Russian and English languages a uniform format of an institution of errors which was approved both with the customer, and with the system developer; created data for carrying out system testing in the conditions close to real.

One more feature of this non-standard project was that in a system rates which participants of a lottery do via payment terminals of QIWI network in all regions of Russia should be registered. Total number of the tests developed by specialists of I-Teco considering this aspect exceeded 90 options. Testing covered all functions of terminals of QIWI and allowed to check correctness of integration of network into the Sportloto system for creation, editing and removal of circulation, assessment of prizes, payment of prizes, accounting calculations and so forth.

Result of joint works of I-Teco and Sportloto – start on October 5, 2011 the state drawing lotteries "Sportloto 6 of 49" and Queneau-Sportloto. The first lottery passes in real time weekly, and the second – every day.
