RDTECH helped to transfer the accounting operating system of the Central Bank to the new version of Oracle DBMS

Within the agreement signed six years ago on expanded technical support of software products of Oracle, the RDTECH company helped to carry out migration of databases of the collective center of processing of payment information (St. Petersburg) on more productive new version of DBMS. The specified center performs operation of the accounting operating system of the Bank of Russia in the mode of collective data processing of its 24 Territorial Departments. In the summer of this year the Central Bank made the decision on transfer of the system used by it to the next version of the software of Oracle for the purpose of increase in its performance.

As reported, migration of operational and archive databases was executed by specialists of bank on the basis of the technique which is in advance developed and checked by specialists of the center of technical support RDTECH. At work the command RDTECH executed consulting support: diagnostics was carried out and the problems which arose in the course of transition are solved. After completion of migration observation of functioning of industrial databases during which decline in production of one of operational databases was revealed was performed. It is reported that in the solution of this problem the contribution was made also by specialists RDTECH.
