A series of electric power supply systems for telecom industry is CellD

The Delta Electronics company, one of leading manufacturers of power sources, provided in November, 2011 a new series of electric power supply systems of telecommunication equipment for installation in racks – CellD. CellD product family completely is based on new supply systems of a direct current of CellD 300, CellD 100 and CellD 40, is constructed on modularity and is easily integrated with the additional hardware that allows to create quickly compact electric power supply systems on objects in the conditions of limited space.

New supply systems of CellD distinguish the following advantages:

• Flexible modular structure of the offered supply systems which allows to use the different platforms and modules consisting of various nodes and components;
• Possibility of use of one type of the rack equipment both for outside, and for internal installation and also in difficult hybrid supply systems;
• Possibility of operational assembly of a necessary configuration of supply systems directly on site installations due to use of ready blocks;
• Minimization of dependence of supply systems of telecommunication equipment on rectifier type;
• The rated current became the main criterion defining the choice of construction of a system and its components (copper buses, contactors, safety locks, etc.);
• The main component / module of each product is the distribution block with a possibility of a configuration with rectifiers of different type.

In the new CellD systems highly effective Delta rectifiers of the EnergE series on 850 and 2900 W are used. Locating the best density of power in the class, EnergE rectifiers already gained deserved recognition in the market of power converters for systems requiring serious restrictions on weight and dimensions of the equipment. Besides, the high efficiency of EnergE rectifiers provides energy consumption reduction that allows to reduce impact on the environment. Thanks to the high density of power and outstanding cumulative efficiency, these systems are ideal for outside and internal applications in the conditions of limited space.

At internal installation the new CellD systems can be mounted in floor offices (SC family) or wall boxes (WB family). New floor offices are issued 800, 1200 and 2000 mm high. Boxes of WB are issued three sizes in height: 5, 8 and 12 HU. Besides, as options of the rack TPS systems distribution panels variable (APD 19" / 3U) and permanent (DPD 19" / 3U) current on 24 modular time cut-outs are delivered.

The CellD 40 and CellD 100 systems are highly - the integrated supply systems for installation in a 19-inch rack. They are expected an output current 40 or 100 And. Systems can be equipped with the rectifier of current of DPR 850 Delta providing the power output of 850 W in a form factor 1U/1U. In the standard CellD 40 configuration it is delivered with three rectifiers while the maximum CellD 100 configuration makes six modules.

The CellD 40 system is the ecologically safest of presented at the market. It is a full-function supply system height of all 1ui with a maximum power of 2.55 kW. Practically CellD 100 which power output is more than 5 kW, and height – 2U, including all connections and a distribution equipment differs in the same compactness. For protection of loading on an object both systems are equipped with time cut-outs with the electromagnetic releaser (MHCB). These switches thanks to the compactness are placed in a regiment 1U high, have potential of a configuration and installation directly on an object, and construction of the shelf and a special distribution payment facilitates this process.

The maximum system configuration of CellD 300 includes two shelves and six rectifiers. A system offers a wide choice of loadings and devices of protection of a chain of the battery. A crucial element of a system is new distribution panel 19" / 3U, expected the load current 300A, prepared for installation of time cut-outs with the thermal and electromagnetic releaser in quantity up to 16 on one panel and up to 6 switches with the electromagnetic releaser from the battery.

All CellD 300, CellD 40 and CellD100 systems are delivered with the most perfect Delta controller – PSC3 and can be equipped with additional sliding guides for simplification of access to points of connection of outlet cables.
