The Tikhvin Car-building Plant enterprise carried out migration from an old HRM system on the platform of 1C on the new BOSS-PERSONNEL OFFICER system.
"The Tikhvin car-building plant" (TVSZ) completed the project of creation of the automated control system for personnel (HRM system) based on the solution "BOSS-PERSONNEL OFFICER".The GMCS company acted as integrator.
As representatives of TVSZ explained TAdviser, from the moment of foundation of the plant for payroll and personnel records a system on the platform of 1C was used. "The solution to replace it was caused by requirements of the enterprise for personnel management of large-scale modern machine-building production (management of personnel development, selection, payroll and organizational structure", - explained in the company.
So as it often happens, an old system ceased to satisfy requirements of the growing business. It is interesting why as the TVSZ new system "BOSS-personnel officer" selected, in addition the enterprise uses software products of Infor – the ERP system of Infor ERP LN, the Infor10 BI system, Infor10 CPM planning and budgeting system. Besides, TVSZ have an electronic document management system (EDMS) and the PLM system of SIEMENS TeamCenter.
According to representatives of TVSZ, "BOSS-personnel officer" was selected as packaged solution when choosing ERP system. "In this solution were pleasant a ratio the price functionality for large engineering enterprise", - they noted in the comment of TAdviser.
The purpose of implementation of a new system consisted in creation of the reliable platform of personnel management and also for implementation at the enterprise of the uniform HR policy. In total the project lasted 10 months, the first tasks – personnel recruitment and personnel records - were implemented in 4 months.
Marina Minko, the HR director of the Tikhvin car-building plant, told that for a year the enterprise conducts an active set of production personnel which training, retraining and advanced training are organized based on corporate training center. "The main objectives facing us were preparation of a new system for implementation of large volume of calculations", - she added.
At the moment the TVSZ new HRM system is in commercial operation and is used for management of the staff list, payroll, preparation of the reporting under personnel for the relevant state bodies. So far in a system account about 1 thousand employees of TVSZ, in the long term – 3 thousand employees is kept. The number of users of a system exceeds 50 people.
Based on "BOSS-personnel officer" also procedures of personnel administration, planning of wage fund, calculation of awards, selection and personnel training are automated. Within the project joint forces of GMCS and IPL companies performed integration "BOSS-personnel officer" with the Infor ERP LN system implemented on TVSZ.
Besides, "BOSS" with a management system of KPI (key performance indicators) which is under construction on the basis of Infor10 BI is going to integrate TVSZ.
