In Tula region "System-112" passed acceptance tests

SFERA Ltd became the winner of an open state tender on system deployment of providing calls of the emergency and operational services, working by number 112, in Tula. The project is based on a technology platform of CoordCom of the Ericsson company adapted by SFERA Ltd to work in the Russian conditions within the devolution agreement of technology for system 112.

Using CoordCom systems capabilities, the uniform communication center of rescue services provides control and coordination of all emergency services. According to terms of the contract the new 112 system will coordinate appeals to the different state organizations of Tula among which there are municipal services, 10 fire stations, 6 police stations, services of emergency aid, service of gas, dispatching offices of municipal services and service of operation of power supply networks.

The technology platform of CoordCom is a flexible complete solution which can be integrated into the available communications infrastructure. A system easily is scaled and adapts under needs and priorities of the specific region and its rescue services.

According to conditions of the signed agreement, SFERA Ltd will execute a full range of project works, including engineering inspections of objects, installation of equipment and software implementation, creation of a common information space, development and approval of regulations of interaction of objects, personnel training.

The Ericsson company is engaged more than 25 years in development of technologies for ensuring public security and accumulated wealth of experience in this area. The existing technology platform of CoordCom is created on the basis of open standards and is easily scaled within the standard solution.

Completion of tests

On December 21, 2015 the SFERA Ltd company announced completion of acceptance tests of a System-112 in Tula region and readiness for continuous operation.

The system-112 of Tula region — our first project constructed on the basis of the Koordkom PC. Today the System-112 of Tula region officially leaves in commercial operation, having successfully completed all tests. Actually a system works within two years. In composition-112 of Tula region more than 10 different emergency and abnormal services in addition to "01", "02", "03", "04". It is possible to call number "112" from the stationary telephone set and any mobile phone (without SIM card). The call will be received by Sistemy-112 operator, it will independently define what abnormal service should be connected in a specific case.
