The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation optimized work of administrative department using the SAP solution Business One

The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation announced in November, 2011 the first results of operation of the SAP solution Business One. At the moment in a system the staff of department of logistics and department of information technologies of administrative department of Minpromtorg of Russia work. Automation of work of data of departments based on the system of SAP allowed to distribute loading of employees evenly. There was a reduction of holding time of users for 50%. Housekeeping overheads of the equipment were reduced by 30%. It was succeeded to optimize warehouse stocks and to lower them by 20%. Much the quality of the provided services increased, request processing time was considerably reduced that at once found the reflection in increase in loyalty of staff of Minpromtorg.

The implementation project of the SAP Business One systems began within the Scientifically Research Works (SRW). Based on the software of SAP Business One the automation system of processes of accounting of hardware failures and the software of the integrated information system and also control of their elimination, and the automation system of process of purchases, accounting and issue of supplies, office supplies and other goods of economic appointment were implemented. In 2009 the decision on consolidation of two systems in the unified information system of automation of accounting of hardware failures and the software was made.

The project objective consisted in quality improvement and efficiency of service of users and creations of a single corporate system. It was necessary to optimize management of warehouse stocks, management of relationship with users, transparency of work of staff of the company and subcontractors under agreements of maintenance and also to adjust service of the equipment standing on balance.

"Along with such serious requirements as the total cost of the software solution and its scalability, for the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation the possibility of receiving qualitative management consulting became a decisive factor of the choice of the SAP solution", - the head of information technology of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Polyansky Dmitry told.

The SAP solution as a result integrated technical services of administrative department in a common information space, having given opportunities of control and correction of key business processes, and created tools of the analysis and planning of interaction with employees and suppliers.

Work on the general integration of NSI of information systems is in the short term planned.
