The largest project based on the product Citrix XenDesktop in Russia and the CIS

The I-Teco company became the owner of an award in the Citrix "The Largest Project based on Citrix XenDesktop in Russia and the CIS" nomination which is annually awarded at the partner Citrix Summit conference. In 2011 the action took place in Barcelona (Spain) at the end of October.

The I-Teco company received a victory in the "Largest Project based on Citrix XenDesktop in Russia and the CIS" nomination for virtualization of applications and jobs for 4,000 users employees of federal network of Otkrytiye bank.

Within the project specialists of I-Teco executed technical consulting at the choice of technologies of virtualization and model of licensing, created optimal architecture of future system. Pilot system deployment of virtualization and the test for compatibility of the available set of business and critical applications with virtual technologies were carried out together with IT service of bank.

"In a work progress we unrolled a system core, configured the main business applications. At the moment I-Teco executes designer's service and maintenance of a system which IT employees of the bank continue to develop and scale now, – Vitaly Dragni, the curator of the project from I-Teco company comments. – Implementation of technologies of virtualization allows to speak about the advancing nature of information policy of Otkrytiye Bank as this solution gives the chance quickly to change business model according to requirements of the market".

The Citrix Summit conference is the largest global action for partners of Citrix Systems company, such as resellers, system integrators, distributors, alliance - and technology partners. The October conference which took place in Barcelona was focused on development of technical expertize of partners and also new strategic directions of business.
