The Akstel company completed system implementation of video selector communication on the equipment of AddPac company in the Ministry of social development of the Novosibirsk region.
Task:
- Organize the system of videoselektory communication under the IP protocol for holding meetings of the minister and heads of divisions of the ministry;
- Number of active participants of video selector 16;
- The number of participants of a system to 100;
- Provide a possibility of connection a point-to-point.
Because of the complex distributed structure of organization and a large number of participants of video conference specialists of Akstel company developed several standard solutions for connection to the video selector.
The set consisting of the videophone Addpac VP300 and the plasma display panel connected to the videophone as an external system of display was set to the minister.
The high-quality IP videophones AddPac VP300 with 7' '-the display were installed to chiefs of divisions. It is supposed that they most often should participate in conferences.
Installed to chiefs of municipal authorities the IP videophones AddPac VP120 with a size of display 4.3’’.
To regular staff of employees from remote divisions proposed the hardware-software solution: the program videophone Addpac SMP100 together with HD Webcams.
Simultaneous participation in video conference of all these participants provides the MCU MC2000 video server of production of AddPac company. Thanks to in the solution of the equipment and software of one producer all system has unconditional compatibility.
The main switching core is the IPnext180 IP PBX who provides registration of all devices of a system, allows to perform video calls a point-to-point and to manage MCU MC2000.
For the solution of a problem of participation in the video selector of a large number of subscribers the system of broadcasting of video on IP was implemented. As the server of broadcasting Polycom RSS4000 is used, he is connected to MCU Addpac MC2000 as the video subscriber and allows to broadcast a conference to IP network. Removed participants can browse the conference course online via the WEB browser, and if necessary the administrator of a conference connects the necessary participant in a conference for an opportunity to make the report.
System implementation of video selector communication in the Ministry of Social Development of the Novosibirsk region gave the chance to discuss working issues without leaving in a business trip, allowed to improve the mechanism of management of divisions and to increase efficiency of acceptance of management decisions.
Description of work of the scheme
- Two devices act as a core of a system of video conference: IPNext180 and MCU MC2000 IP PBX. All clients are registered on the IP PBX, and MC2000 is connected to it as the device of mix and processing of video flows. Control MC2000 is completely exercised via the IP PBX by means of WEB SMM.
- The broadcasting server one of two interfaces "looks" in internal network where IPNext180 and MC2000 is located, and is connected to the IP PBX under the SIP protocol. And the second RSS4000 interface is connected to the external Internet with the static external IP address that allows to be connected to it directly to the subscribers wishing to watch the carried-out video conference in real time.
- Between each client (with the videophone VP300, VP120 or SMP100) and network where the equipment of control of video conference is installed, the channel using a VPN tunnel will be organized that allows to organize directly the routed address space without use of NAT.
