Main Features
SPLIT allows to execute automatic laying of a project profile of the pipeline in the set corridor of depths with optimization by criterion of minimization of cost of construction of the pipeline, taking into account the crossed obstacles and installation sites of latches. Elements of project solutions of transitions through obstacles are also created automatically. Laying is executed using the corners combined (3M).
SPLIT gives the chance to create automatically:
- drawings of the plan and profile (including drawings of transitions) the pipeline according to GOST 21.101-97; at the same time the possibility of setup of a type of a stamp, "cellar" and other elements is provided;
- specifications and summary sheets on amounts of works and conditions of passing of the route through obstacles (automobile and the railroads, underground pipelines, cables, water barriers, swamps and marshiness, artificial bending, corners of the plan of the route, profile elements).
Description
SPLIT is the application to AutoCAD (AutoCAD Civil 3D) developed on the basis of ObjectARX technology that allows to manipulate intellectual objects to edit them in a graphic and tabular style.
Initial data for work of SPLIT are DWG - files of topographical plans (profiles) for the pipeline route. A system provides also use of other materials delivered by the prospecting organizations: sheets of the MS Excel, TsMR in the form of a layer of 3M-edges, constructed in CREDO or AutoCAD Civil 3 D, etc.
Functional structure of SPLIT
- The module "GEODESY" is preparation of prospecting data: creation and editing routes, work with picketage, data entry on intersections and transitions.
- The module "GEOLOGY" is input and data processing of drilling: creation and editing the database on wells and soil, formation and editing an engineering-geological section, export of the columns of wells given in drawings.
- Module "DESIGN"
Underground laying of the pipeline taking into account the set parameters of bent and elastic corners, design of cuts, shelves, transitions through obstacles, ballastings, the otkosoukrepitelny and other accompanying constructions.
Elevated laying of the pipeline with a possibility of automatic arrangement of compensatory blocks. The module "power transmission line" is design of a technology part of overhead power transmission lines with the automatic arrangement of anchorage and suspension towers considering sagged wires.
2017: Split 4.0
- creation of intellectual graphic objects – automatic recalculation of parameter values (for example, a turning angle, route length) a designed project according to its new set arrangement on the drawing;
- creation at the same time several routes of objects of different type (the pipeline, the gas pipeline, the power transmission line, etc.) in one project;
- generalization of the table cellar with correct arrangement of densely put route parameters, excepting mutual intersections and imposings;
- automatic formation of the table cellar according to the selected properties of shooting and creation of difficult side heads in profile drawings;
- creation of vulgar geology (not only along the route) for creation of a set of the interconnected cuts.
- the structured information representation on the created objects in the Tree of projects;
- editing the created objects using the dashboards caused from Derev of the project and accompanied with auxiliary graphic and text symbols.
2015: Modules are added to structure of release Split 3.76
On April 17, 2015 it became known of development of functionality of a CAD Split in release 3.76.
The module SPLIT was a part of the updated system. Researches, it is intended for input in the system of prospecting data, necessary for project implementation.
SPLIT. Researches
The used input data
- drawings of topographical plans of sections of the route in the DWG (DXF) format;
- drawings of longitudinal profiles and engineering-geological cuts of sections of the route in the DWG (DXF) format;
- the digital model of a relief (DMR) received in the form of the DWG (DXF) file from software products of CREDO AutoCAD Civil 3D, AutoCAD Land Desktop GeoniCS;
- sheets of angles of turns of the route (MS Excel files or text);
- sheets of marks of the earth and the existing pipe on the route (the MS Excel files or text);
- sheets of the crossed obstacles (MS Excel files).
Functionality of the module
- creation of the route with the set technical characteristics of the pipeline. Depending on diameter of a pipe a system controls admissible radiuses and corners of an elastic bend, tangents of bent branches, etc.;
- appointment and editing picketage on the route, use of chopped pickets;

- editing elements of the route graphic and tabular by methods, insert of corners and replacement of section;
- data entry on intersections and transitions;
- data entry on the crossed administrative borders;
- data entry according to folding geodetic signs;
- creation of a profile of the Earth's surface:
- on the digital model of a relief (DMR);
- on the polyline which is contained on the drawing of a profile;
- according to the tabular data "picketage-a mark" (the MS Excel file or text);
- formation of drawings of plans and profiles of brand "I" with a possibility of setup of a type of the main text, "cellar" and other elements;
- formation of sheets.

Output data
- the file of the SPLIT project in the DWG format containing:
- model of a subject to researches: the route, a profile, the crossed obstacles, folding signs and so forth;
- single sheets (layouts) of drawings of plans and profiles of brand "I" of the basic and the scale enlarged (transitions) which are dynamically connected with model;
- the drawings of plans and profiles of brand "I" exported to separate files of AutoCAD for viewing, editing and printing without application of the SPLIT system;
- sheets of the crossed obstacles in the MS Excel format.
In addition, as a part of release 3.76 the module SPLIT. Pipelines – the main module SPLIT is also intended it for semi-automatic design of objects of new construction and repair of trunk and field pipelines (oil and gas pipelines, underground and land) according to the existing regulating documents: Construction Norms and Regulations 2.05.06-85, SNIP, SNIP III-42-80, JV 34-116-97 and creations of the work documentation.
The used calculation procedures
- calculation of characteristics of an elastic bend according to Construction Norms and Regulations 2.05.06-85;
- calculation of a bend for the equation of the elastic line;
- calculation of a bend approximation on a parabola.
The used input data
- the file of the SPLIT project (prepared in the module SPLIT. Researches), containing model of a subject to researches: the route, a profile, the crossed obstacles and so forth;
- the drawings of the topographical plan and profile displaying information, necessary for design.
Functionality
The module contains functionality for design of both underground, and land pipelines.

- arrangement of the compensation blocks (CB) from the set motionless support (MS) to the closest planned corner of the pipeline route;
- installation of angular CB, arrangement of the mobile support (MS) and NO, automatic measuring;
- semi-automatic laying of the project line on a profile taking into account route turning angles (using the corners combined 3M);
- creation of the drawing of the compensator.

- generation of drawings of plans and profiles of brand "L" with a possibility of setup of a type of the main text, the cellar and other elements;
- formation of specifications and sheets of amounts of works — as for a single sheet, and summary on all section.

- model of a subject to design: the route, a profile, a trench, the pipeline with 3M corners, cases, weighting compounds and so forth;
- single sheets (layouts) of drawings of plans and profiles of brand "L" of the basic and the scale enlarged (transitions) which are dynamically connected with model;
- the drawings of plans and profiles of brand "L" exported to separate files of AutoCAD for viewing, editing and printing without application of the SPLIT system;
