The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Mordovia automates office-work by means of EDMS

The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Mordovia purchased and implemented the electronic document management system "CASE" developed by Electronic Office Systems (EOS) company. Delivery and technical maintenance were performed by the partner of EOS Group – Business-Soft LLC company (Saransk).

In December, 2010 in the Ministry of Agriculture and Food the electronic document management system "CASE" was implemented. Originally 16 jobs were purchased by the ministry. Since 2011 in the CASE system processing of all entering and internal correspondence is made. Within a year of operation of a system positive experience of use of this software product was got. The ministry made the decision to continue work in the field of workflow automation. In August, 2011 38 additional jobs and also the option "Line Scanning" were purchased.

Use of an electronic document management system helped to fix a problem of "dispersion" and duplication of documents. Automation of office-work allowed to create a common information space for work with documents, to ensure safety of information storage, to solve a problem of systematization of documents. Time which was spent by employees on search of necessary documents was significantly reduced. Level of discipline of employees increased. Additional purchase of additional licenses for the purpose of providing all employees with personal jobs in a system is in the future planned. According to the results of cooperation the staff of the ministry highly appreciated competence of specialists of Business-Soft company.
