Aeroflot was protected from leaks using Zlock

On November 30, 2011 the SECURIT company, the Russian developer of solutions for data protection from internal threats (DLP), announces completion of works on system implementation of protection against leakages of Zlock in the territory of the largest Russian airline "Aeroflot".

Within the transaction Aeroflot purchased 1.5 thousand licenses for installation of the Zlock system. As representatives of the company note, during the choice of a product for improvement of information security of networks of the enterprise they preferred the Zlock system from SECURIT to offers of some other the Russian and western developers, having estimated its reliability and the rich functionality corresponding to requirements of the company. When choosing a DLP system heads of Aeroflot looked for the solution which would allow to protect from possible leaks personal information of passengers of airline and other confidential data by copying on external devices. Zlock helped specialists in information security of Aeroflot to set flexible control of use of removable mediums and printers within the organization and also allowed to solve a problem of inappropriate use of corporate resources.

The Zlock system belongs to a complex of DLP solutions of SECURIT allowing to control potential channels of leak, to protect data in the course of storage and use. Zlock is intended for protection against information leaks via the peripheral devices connected via USB interfaces, LPT, COM, IrDA, PCMCIA, IEEE 1394. An agency DLP system also controls the built-in devices, such as network interface cards, modems, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, CD/DVD disk drives and also printing of documents on local and network printers. Zlock allows to differentiate flexibly access to devices on the basis of a set of parameters, including to configure filtering on contents of the written documents. Archiving (shadow copying) and collecting of events of Zlock allows to trace all information which registers in the permitted devices and is printed, for the subsequent analysis of possible incidents.
