Common Criteria for Information Technology Security Evaluation (CCITSE)

The Common Criteria for Information Technology Security Evaluation standard (CCITSE) represents a set of evaluation criteria approved with the U.S. National Security Agency and National Institute of standards and technologies and also with similar organizations of 13 other countries. The standard was developed for the purpose of permission of technical and conceptual differences in the existing standards of assessment of information security of systems and products.

Assignment of certification of Common Criteria EAL4 requires the profound analysis of methodology of design and product development supported with comprehensive testing.

For November, 2011 certificates of EAL4 are recognized in the following countries: USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, France, Germany, Finland, Greece, Israel, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Spain and Great Britain.
