Since 2008, this KVM switch model has been certified for compliance with international Common Criteria Evaluation Assurance Level 4 (determined by the ALC_FLR.2 and ATE_DPT.2 standard) EAL4 +. Testing was carried out according to the strictest Tempest standards adopted by military organizations in many countries. Testing was completed in late 2009 and test results are available at the following Common Criteria EAL4 + link Certification1

Adder has expanded its line of secure KVM switches. New devices were added with support for fewer computers (now version 1 has a workstation for 2 or 4 computers), support for VGA analog video signal, as well as specialized card readers that guarantee the protection of transmitted information were added. Now there are devices with both DVI and USB support, as well as VGA and USB.

Characteristics

  • Data Diodes ensure that the movement of information coming from the keyboard and mouse will only go in one direction. This system is completely hardware-based

  • The keyboard and mouse are powered off each time you switch between computers, ensuring full re-initialization that makes it impossible for malicious software to move from one computer to another

  • A specially thought-out protection system and separation of internal electrical circuits prevent crosstalk between channels of various computers or information output to the outside world through radiation or electric pulses.

  • A common keyboard, mouse, and monitor will allow the user to work with multiple computers on networks with varying levels of security (from the highest, to computers connected to the Internet). In this case, data security will be guaranteed by the KVM switch, which will also protect the entire system from user error

  • Switching between different computers is possible only when using the buttons on the front panel of the KVM switch

  • LEDs on the front panel will visually detect the computer used • Hardware diodes guarantee unidirectional movement of information.
