M2M Telematics delivered a batch of the equipment of GLONASS which was purchased by "The Russian Buses — GAZ Group" company for equipment of transport of Likino Bus Plant. Implementation of solutions GLONASS is performed within the signed contract for the amount of 75 million rubles. According to terms of the contract the navigation and coherent equipment is going to be installed for 1.5 thousand buses directly on the assembly conveyor of LiAZ (enters into GAZ Group).
M2M Telematics works not the first year with automotive industry directly. Within production process, namely at the time of assembly of the bus, it is much simpler to install on it the GLONASS equipment. In this case there is no need to remove the vehicle from a route and to look for to it replacement. In the last several years the transport complex of the Russian Federation develops in high gear, including expansion of transport parks and growth of volumes of passenger and freight transportation. According to the contract LiAZ which will perform passenger traffic of Muscovites along city routes in addition to the navigation and coherent equipment will be equipped with video cameras of external and internal observation with infrared illumination and also a complex of special sensors and the video recorder. Similar "The safe bus" is an element of the intelligent transport system (ITS).
The ITS represents the end-to-end system integrating modern information, navigation, geoinformation and telecommunication technologies and providing effective management of a road and transport complex of both the certain cities, and regions for the purpose of capacity growth of a road network, cost efficiency of transportations, ensuring convenience and safety of passengers, etc.
