In Andritz company Autodesk Vault data management system is implemented

The Autodesk company announced that the Andritz company, the world leader in production of the modern equipment and rendering services in the field of hydropower, pulp-and-paper and metal-working industry, implemented Autodesk Vault for more effective management of data of a CAD, design, the organization of material handling and logistics.

For strengthening of the positions in the conditions of the growing competition the Austrian company Andritz looked for the solution capable to improve joint work of the distributed collectives, to help to increase performance, to achieve growth of order amount and to reduce products output time for the market. The data management system existing in the company was these tasks, too expensive, difficult and bulky for accomplishment, and specialists of Andritz decided to implement Autodesk Vault which provides effective integration of AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD Mechanical. In a year the Andritz company implemented the solution in 11 branches located in the countries of Europe and Asia.

The quantity of the errors resulting from overwriting of the necessary data or work with the wrong document revisions is minimized".

Work with Vault went to Andritz companies so successfully that it was decided to update all licenses to Autodesk Vault Professional in which integration with ERP systems is provided. Thanks to it Andritz had more opportunities for management of specifications on products and also for free interaction with business systems of the enterprise.
