VSMPO Avisma corporation - Global-EAM

At the beginning of 2011 between the world's largest producer of titanium the VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation and the Business of Technology company signed the cooperation agreement on implementation at the enterprise of the information system Global-EAM for management of maintenance and repairs of the equipment.

The Business of Technology company is one of leaders among domestic developers and implementers of the ERP systems focused on medium and large business and has own unique development Global ERP system covering all range of business processes.

The phasing of the project was caused by its scale and complexity and also an implementation scope and integration and also the sizes of the enterprise – system implementation happens in all production workshops of the VSMPO enterprise. After a successful completion in September, 2011 of a pilot project of trial operation on system implementation on one of workshops specialists of "BT" start replication of a system of information management and automation for a MRO. on other 25 workshops of the enterprise and further implementation in them trial operation which is going to be completed by the end of March, 2012 and to begin commercial operation.

The previous software did not satisfy the increasing needs for systematization of accounting and information management on a MRO.

Need of system implementation of Global EAM was proved by tasks: on substantial increase of efficiency and efficiency of repair services, reduction of number of abnormal repairs, control over working time of personnel and work of personnel. It is possible to tell that in general and in particular the task of business process optimization of the enterprise is set for a system.

In addition to implementation of the main of the extensive and capacious logically built functionality of Global-EAM, extra work on individual development for VSMPO AVISMA of the module on management of works was made and also the module system on management will be implemented and integrated in addition warehouse and financially technical supply. Including integration with the personnel and repair services, formation of the staff list, the reference book of repair division and repair crews was made.

In the project progress the main objectives on control of work of personnel, on creation of diagrams of scheduled preventive maintenance were successfully solved, key performance indicators of carrying out timely repair and scheduled maintenance are created. Ultimate goal of the project is to make AVISMA is more transparent a system and structure of a MRO of VSMPO and to considerably increase the speed and availability of obtaining necessary information to adoption of timely solutions.

In progress in putting into operation of the Global-EAM system by specialists of BT company it will be trained in work in a system up to 300 people of staff of the VSMPO Avisma enterprise.

Thanks to the successful results which are already achieved today during trial operation, the AVISMA plant is aimed at further cooperation with BT company.
