Mondi of SLPK upgraded a wireless network in warehouses of the finished goods

JSC Mondi SLPK upgraded using Netcube company a wireless network in warehouses of the finished goods. The personnel of warehouses had additional opportunities for mobile and operational management of processing of loads for consumers.

Mundy SLPK represents one of the most advanced enterprises of the pulp-and-paper industry in terms of use of wireless technologies. In 2002 the company brought the geographically distributed wireless network which provided connection of remote production sites to resources of corporate network into operation.

The task of upgrade of a wireless network on finished goods warehouses for ensuring timely shipments of goods to buyers was set in 2010 during planned technology rearmament. SLPK attracted Netcube company to the solution of a task Mondi – the Russian system integrator having experience of design and creation of corporate multiservice networks across all Russia.

Netcube upgraded wireless infrastructure of the enterprise, solved a problem of input in a system of new radio-terminals, provided a possibility of wireless access to resources of corporate network and to the Internet for mobile employees on production, in administration rooms and translated the existing access points under management of controllers. The modern protected failsafe wireless network functioning on key objects of the enterprise became a result of the carried-out works. Technical solutions are performed based on the program and hardware Cisco Systems components.

We use wireless technologies for a long time and successfully based on the equipment Cisco therefore was logical to continue their development at upgrade of a wireless network on finished goods warehouses, - the head of department of information processes Mondi SLPK Korobeynikov Dmitry told. - The Netcube company together with our specialists successfully implemented this project that allowed us to use the new equipment and to provide the continuity of production processes in warehouses.
