Rostelecom started creation of infrastructure of "the electronic government" in the Kurgan region

Rostelecom and the government of the Kurgan region concluded the government contract on creation of infrastructure of "the electronic government" of the Kurgan region and transfer of the public and municipal services to an electronic form.

The contract provides project development of a corporate data network of the government of the Kurgan region, the organization of the regional infrastructure of the electronic government (RIEG) of the Kurgan region, transfer of 43 public services to an electronic form, connection to RIEP of 89 access points via secure channels of communication.

Regional state services will be available to residents of the Trans-Ural region in electronic form from any device having Internet connection, already in the first quarter 2012. First of all the most socially important will be transferred to an electronic form - appointment and allowance payment on child care, providing to citizens subsidies for payment of premises and utilities, implementation of social payments to jobless citizens, repeated issue of documents on state registration of acts of civil status. Also in the list - services in the field of education, licensing of medical, pharmaceutical and educational activity.

The created regional network will allow to create electronic interaction between state institutions and will save residents of the Kurgan region from need to address for a set of references in several organizations – enough to make one request via the portal of state services, and then to come only once for a ready document package.

The point of issue to citizens of activation codes of "personal account" of the uniform portal of public services of www.gosuslugi.ru already works in the central post office building in Kurgan.
