Biography

Sergey Aleksandrovich Kolobov graduated from faculty of radio of communications of the Kiev highest military engineering college of M.I Kalinin, defended the dissertation for a degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences on the subject "Analysis and Synthesis of Management Systems for Convergent Networks".

Worked as the deputy head of department of special telecommunication systems of protection and information of the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU).

Later Mr. Kolobov headed, and then was a part of the National commission on questions of regulation of communication of Ukraine.

Also Sergey Kolobov was the vice-chairman of the State committee of Ukraine concerning science, innovations and informatization.

On December 15, 2011 the Avaya company announced Sergey Kolobov's appointment the chief representative of Avaya in Ukraine. In this position Mr. Kolobov performs the general management of activity of representation, being under supervision of Alexander Parkhomenko, the CEO of Avaya in Russia and the CIS.

Vladimir Valchuk holding a post of the head of representative office of Avaya in Ukraine is transferred to a position of the director of business development to the CIS.

Questions of coordination of business of the company in the territory of Ukraine and a problem of preserving of the leading positions of Avaya, strengthening and development of the relations with key partners, expansion of channels and increase in sales volumes on the main activities of the company included the field of activity of Sergey Kolobov.
