ELAR completed implementation of the Uniform information retrieval system of the Joint state archive of Chelyabinsk region

The regional target program "Development of Information Society and Formation of the Electronic Government of Chelyabinsk Region for 2011-2012" is designed to solve a number of problems of ensuring operational providing necessary archive information for transition of authorities to rendering public services in electronic form.

Within implementation of this program the Joint State Archive of Chelyabinsk Region (JSACR) is the largest organization of archive service of the region in which more than 2 million cases are stored – made the decision on creation of the Uniform information retrieval system of archives of Chelyabinsk region. The ELAR corporation working on this project since 2008 completed its first stage, having automated activity of the state archive regarding providing public services, and announced implementation of the OGAChO Uniform information retrieval system.

In 2011 upgrade of the AIS Archive system was carried out: the information resource of 985,000 sheets of archivings was loaded into it, electronic inventories are indexed and also access to an information system via the website of OGAChO is organized. Further connection of a system to the portal of Public services of Chelyabinsk region through a uniform integration bus of Rostelecom company and also connection to the AIS Archive of Municipal Archives of the Region is planned.

First, a system provides informing citizens on location of these or those archive documents. Secondly, allows to automate work of staff of archive, increasing thereby efficiency of processing of social and legal requests of citizens and the organizations.

Integration of the INFORMATION RETRIEVAL SYSTEM of OGACHO about region SIEI which will allow it to enter the Single system of providing public services to citizens and the organizations in electronic form will be the next stage of the project".
