Distrilab LLP, the supplier of laboratory and industrial equipment for the extracting and processing industry, and SAP company, one of world leaders in the field of software solutions for business management, announce project completion of the implementing solution SAP CRM for an exit to the new interoperability layer with clients. The Kazakhstan company Business Applications Solutions LLP acted as the partner in the project.
Distrilab LLP is a supplier of the laboratory equipment, laboratory devices, laboratory furniture, spectrometers, thermostats, crushers, the industrial systems of weighing, a gas-analytical equipment and polymeric materials for the enterprises of the oil, gas and overworking, uranium, mining and metallurgical, pharmaceutical, food and easy industries, research institutes and laboratories.
Before implementation in the company there was no automated information system, all customer information was conducted in Microsoft Excel. Because of the existing separate price lists in the company there were difficulties by drawing up commercial offers and agreements. In an analysis result of projects on SAP implementation of CRM in the different companies, and reference visits for studying of this product, the management of Distrilab LLP selected the SAP solution CRM with previously configured business scenarios in the field of marketing, sales, service and analytics. The project on implementation was carried out by the Business Applications Solutions company specializing in rendering complex professional services in information technology field including consulting, implementation of the IC, technical and service support, sale of the equipment, IT training.
Implementation started in January, 2011 and was successfully complete in 7 months. Creation of an information system allowed to reach a number of the important purposes: create uniform base of clients, centralize access to base of the nomenclature and price lists, to automate the analysis and planning of results of work with clients, to get online access to information on customer relations, to increase efficiency of service of marketing and also to create the system of notifications of staff of maintenance department and a message the knowledge base according to service orders. The implementing solution SAP CRM allowed the company to reach the new level of efficiency on the following indicators:
- 20% sales increase,
- 25% growth of a customer loyalty,
- increase in efficiency of request processing for 40%,
- reduction of duplication of information for 30%.
In general the SAP solution CRM allowed Distrilab LLP to reduce by 11-15% costs due to performance improvement, reduction of loss of information and increase in transparency of business processes. The number of users of an information system at the moment makes 12 people. In plans for further development of the project system implementation of this type in branches of the company.
