CS MapDrive

The GIS CS MapDrive allows to perform effectively in real time the multi-user regulated access to Oracle DBMS for unlimited amounts of data and any number of users.

The version of CS MapDrive 2.6 supports work with specifications of Locator/Spatial in all versions of Oracle 10g/11g DBMS – with an opportunity to use all known coordinate systems and cartographic projections, the GeoRaster specification for storage of unlimited data arrays of remote sensing, a broad set of transactions of creation and editing space data directly in DBMS without the need for synchronization of the user sessions, the reference books allowing to minimize errors of operator input and also to execute space requests on DBMS server side for minimization of resource requirements of the workstation.

Data visualization in CS MapDrive is made in full accordance with the system of reference designations accepted for different large-scale ranks, and the draft of the map containing information on the connections with DBMS necessary for the solution of a specific production objective, the used classes of space objects and styles of their display can automatically be displayed in other GIS-applications.

The most effectively instrumental GIS CS MapDrive is used within complex projects multi-level by ISOGD, in a combination to the specialized software tool UrbaniCS and GIS portals to use the CS UrbanView components. The technology of the distributed maintaining multi-level was successfully provided to ISOGD on the All-Russian review competition of ISOGD in St. Petersburg (July, 2009) and is mentioned by the diploma as the best development for the level of the territorial subject of the Russian Federation.
