Implementation project of 1C in Neva Taft production company

The Sotis company completed an implementation project of the 1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8 system in Neva Taft production company. Now the company which is releasing more than 5,000 product names keeps account of products directly at the exit from the pipeline. The number of operations on accounting of products is cut by half, regrading is excluded. All this allowed to lower costs and to increase profitability of a company performance.

TAFT NEVA company is created in St. Petersburg in 2002. Now the company takes the leading positions in the Russian market on release of floor carpets (more than 10 million sq.m). TAFT NEVA factory makes almost all types of floor carpets which release on tufted technology: SAXONY, CUT LOOP, VELOUR, SCROLL, PRINT, CUT PILE, GRAPHICS, has the branches in 7 Russian regions.

The main business process in the company – multiconversion continued production. For ensuring its smooth operation a system with ample opportunities of planning and accounting of purchases, sales, productions, and also inventory control was required. At the same time a system had to support the flexible and configured algorithm of cost accounting of products and semi-finished products of multiconversion production, to provide accounting of activity of branches of the company, with further leading of a financial result of activity of all organization.

According to the stated requirements the decision on system implementation "was made by 1C: Management of manufacturing enterprise 8". The project was executed by specialists of Sotis LLC company.

Result - all sections of operational production accounting are automated, tools for the analysis and objective assessment of results of work of divisions of the company are received. Now the central office and remote divisions work in the unified information system. Duplication of data by different departments is excluded, information is entered into a system only once and becomes available to users of the program according to their access rights. A new system provides:

Main results of implementation:

  • Marking of products at the exit from the pipeline and conducting serial inventory accounting of each unit of production allowed to reduce quantity of warehouse transactions, to minimize losses and regrading,
  • Time for complete cost accounting of products is reduced by 50% - 70%;
  • The company management obtains operational information on shop stocks and work in progress that allowed to optimize shop stocks

Implementation is complete, a system is successfully brought into commercial operation and is on warranty maintenance in Sotis company.
