GLONASS technologies will increase efficiency of landowners of the Belgorod region

Specialists of ENDS company of Russia took at the end of 2011 part in a seminar on implementation of GLONASS of solutions in work of the agricultural enterprises of the Belgorod region. Acquaintance of the audience with the innovative developments in the field of satellite technologies, their practical application became a main objective. The action took place with assistance of the Belgorod state agricultural academy and the innovation center "Agrotekhnopark".

As the head of department of technical maintenance of crop production of department of HSC of the Belgorod region Andrey Gridnev noted, in agro-industrial complex a priority is program implementation of development of agriculture of the Belgorod region and also the long-term target programs directed to improving competitiveness. The innovative developments, in particular solutions based on GLONASS system, will only strengthen positions of agricultural complex.

  • The Navigator-Agro system promotes automation of work of machine parks of agricultural enterprises, - the head of territorial directorate of ENDS Ltd Oleg Slepets comments. - Its functionality allows to obtain the comprehensive information about operation of the equipment, its utilization properties, work of systems and mechanisms and also to issue these results in a type, convenient for the analysis. The overall cost efficiency of implementations makes from 15 to 40 percent.

Officials of area, heads and specialists of special-purpose committees, representatives of the agroenterprises, owners of country farms and staff of scientific departments of academy took part in work of a seminar. Let's note that in the Belgorod region agriculture is one of the leading industries of production. Rates of development allow to speak about deficit in the region of farmlands already today.
