BI system implementation project in tea company Riston

The ATK consulting group completed QlikView system implementation in tea company Riston. According to the results of implementation, Riston was succeeded to increase considerably quality of a business intelligence and to reduce terms of its development.

Riston company – one of the largest producers of elite sorts of the Ceylon tea. More than 10 years work at the Russian tea Riston market and on sales of tea enters the five of the leading companies of the Russian market.

Business development of Riston requires processing of more and more considerable data arrays, however the scheme of processing of analytical information existing in the company, did not cope with growth of amount of data for the analysis. The analytical reporting in Riston was kept mainly in the accounting system of Microsoft Dynamics NAV and the system of financial accounting 1C, at the same time on a regular basis only the analysis of sales to distributors was made, and other key areas were analyzed with insufficient frequency because of high labor input of process. According to Riston company, thanks to QlikView implementation, it was succeeded to increase considerably the level of reliability and detailing of analytical information, to reduce costs for support of analytics, to standardize a report form and to reduce their quantity. Other important achievement was reduction of term of development of analytical reports – now the necessary report which to system implementation could take several hours and more, it is possible to receive in read minutes.
