Rostelecom and the government of the Oryol region signed the contract for transfer of state services to an electronic form

Rostelecom and the government of the Oryol region signed the public contract on transfer of state services to an electronic form. Signatures under the document delivered the vice president – the director of Macroregional branch "Centre" of Rostelecom company Vyacheslav Kozelsky and the Head of Department of property, the industry and informatization of the Oryol region Anton Lavrenyuk.

The contract provides execution of works within the long-term regional target program "Development of Information Society in the territory of the Oryol Region (2011-2018)" for ensuring transition of executive authorities and local government authorities of the region to providing state services in electronic form. Rostelecom will perform works on development of the Uniform portal of the public and municipal services, implementation of the interdepartmental electronic interaction (IEI), providing to departments the Oryol region opportunities of the national platform for the distributed data processing with ready-made solutions for automation of their work on the SaaS model (Soft-as-a-Service), common trusted area, the uniform electronic signature for citizens of users of the portal of state services and a broad spectrum of infrastructure solutions on the IaaS (Infrastructure-as-a-Service) model.

"The main objective of the company – to help regional and municipal authorities as soon as possible and with the minimum costs to begin provision of services in electronic form to residents of the Oryol region, – the vice president – the director of macroregional branch "Centre" of JSC Rostelecom Vyacheslav Kozelsky noted. – Technical capabilities of Rostelecom allow to reach the high speed of implementation of new solutions on transfer of services to an electronic form, and, at the same time, provide the low cost of operation".

All actions will be implemented based on a complex of software and hardware tools of regional infrastructure of the Electronic government of Rostelecom. Networks of the company have the high level of personal data protection that allows to connect the different information systems providing providing public services and also a number of services of commercial structures in electronic form.

"The signed contract is one of consecutive steps of project implementation Electronic government. Electronic government is understood as the new form of the organization of activity of public authorities providing convenience of receiving public services to all residents of Orlovschina using the Internet portal", – the Head of Department of property, the industry and informatization of the Oryol region Anton Lavrenyuk noted.
