Implementation of Directum in TNK-Nyagan is complete

TNK-Nyagan is included into group of companies of development and production of TNK-BP and conducts oil and gas production on three oil fields: Em-Yogovsky, Talinsky and Stone (the western part), forming the Krasnoleninsky code. The specifics of activity of the enterprise oblige the management to pay special attention to environmental protection, to develop and to constantly improve internal technologies and business processes. Within this direction of development the decision on updating of an electronic document management system was made. The previous development implemented many years ago ceased to satisfy to the growing requirements of the enterprise, and it became the basis for the choice of a new system among presented at the market.

As a new solution development from DIRECTUM company was selected. The DIRECTUM ESM-system is rather known and is widely used at the enterprises of TNK-BP holding for creation of electronic document management and interaction. In particular, the solution on the DIRECTUM platform is recognized by the corporate standard for the block of the enterprises of processing and trade (PITAS).

The first stage of the project started in November, 2010. Within 5 months works on implementation of functionality of the Basic modules DIRECTUM and the module Office were carried out. With their help registration, storage and mailing of the entering and outgoing correspondence and also creation, approval, vising, acquaintance and control of execution of administrative documents (orders, instructions and protocols) are completely transferred to an electronic form. Work with memos, instructions, internal regulating documents, production contracts and requests is in addition automated. Work on SMK, in particular, registration and mailing of documents on internal audits also passed into a system.

Within the second stage of the project which began in August, 2011 specialists of DIRECTUM company started implementation of the module "Contract management" which allowed to automate all contracted work, agrees to the Regulatory base of contracting adopted in all holding.

Today in a system 650 users, including the top management are registered. As a result of implementation of DIRECTUM in TNK-Nyagan time of collective work on documents was considerably reduced, interaction at the enterprise moved to qualitatively new level, in full accordance with the business culture of TNK-BP holding.

In plans TNK-Nyagan – implementation of the distributed storages of content – DIRECTUM Storage Services and also the solution iDecide which allows to work to heads with a system via iPad. Also further integration of DIRECTUM with the accounting system of SAP using the standard connector from a Set of integration tools (DIRECTUM Integration Toolset) is planned. Thanks to such integration work with data of the main reference books will be synchronized in both systems.
