JSC MOESK – the regional distribution grid company, largest in the Russian Federation. The territory of service of society makes 47 thousand sq.km, with the population about 17 million people. For several years JSC MOESK implements the large-scale investment program directed to reliability augmentation of power supply and liquidation of a capacity shortage in the Moscow region. Tasks of improvement of quality of power supply of huge number of inhabitants of the region and also high requirements for effective implementation of the planned strategy, defined need of automation of financial and economic activity of the company.
Implementation of the automated control system for financial and economic activity (FHD ACS) is performed by the Energodata company having experience of successful implementation of similar projects on the large power enterprises.
The project covers all main directions of financial and economic activity of JSC MOESK (Executive office and 7 branches), including the investment management and capital construction, management of maintenance and repair of the equipment, material flows, sale and finance.
Within preparation of the project the decision on use of the latest software versions of SAP – ERP 6.0 Ehp 5, PI NW 7.3 and also the last new products of SAP was made: LAM (Linear Asset Management is Management of linear objects), PPM (Portfolio and Project Management is Project portfolio management and projects) version 5.0.
At the first stage of works the team of consultants and methodologists started the description of the current business processes of JSC MOESK what the report on inspection with the recommendations of experts of Energodata was result of. This document formed base for the subsequent development of the methodological accounting standards meeting the requirements of the relevant legislation: standards of accounting and tax accounting, management accounting and a complex of standards on logistics management. The similar organization allowed to finish works on inspection, development of standards, techniques and formation of the conceptual project on the created system of everything in 2 months.

In parallel with setup of a system works on collecting of the normative reference information within which Energodata's experts started the analysis of the existing DB, schemes of substations and pooporny sheets, and then certification and structure formation of the equipment of JSC MOESK were performed. Key user training and carrying out integration testing became a logical conclusion of a stage of implementation.
The module PPM (Portfolio and Project Management) on the investment management and capital construction was transferred to the first to the trial operation (TO). The investment program of MOESK for 2011-2013 was loaded into a productive system.
"Inclusion in a functional framework of the solution on management of project portfolios and projects (PPM) introduced a number of innovations in the company of the Customer, - Sergey Pozdnyakov, Energodata program manager comments on project implementation. - Now within formation and the statement of an investment program all investment projects are prioritized according to the approaches developed during the project. During the planning and correction of an investment program indicators of planned and actual efficiency of projects, for example, such as energy efficiency, NPV, IRR are considered. Each project has the lifecycle which corresponds to a certain project status. In a system the set of the services limited to access rights – services of investment activities, capital construction, technical services, services of technology accession and strategic development works".
In implementation process of the project certification of primary high-voltage equipment of power supply networks was executed. Now formation of repair programs (including, planning and cost optimization on a MRO) and accounting of the fact of execution of works on TO and repair is conducted. Planning processes and the analysis of results of primary activity of the company in natural and cost indicators are provided with necessary information. The means considering specifics of the electric grid company are developed. Special attention is paid to reporting before the major shareholder – JSC IDGC Holding and supervisory authorities.
In the conditions of high wearing of fixed assets resource allocation optimization (financial, material and human) is of great importance for maintenance of an electric grid in proper condition at reducing costs for primary activity. An ERP system of SAP provides information support of resource optimization at all stages of business processes of a MRO of JSC MOESK – from planning to the reporting.
Up-to-date information about a status of assets and about the course of business processes of a MRO is available online to management of the company at all levels: on regions of power supply networks, on branches, in services of executive office, to upper managers.
Before transition to SAP in JSC MOESK it was possible to speak about a common information space only regarding accounting. The MRO and other key business processes of the company were automated separately in a set of the separate systems at the level of branches. It is a typical case of "scrappy" automation. Degree of dissociation of information landscape became clear already on initial stage of the project by quantity of systems sources of which data migration in SAP ERP was executed further and also via number of interfaces of integration between them from which became possible to refuse.
Operational and statistical information is available as directly in SAP ERP now, and in the system of the analytical reporting constructed based on SAP BI which unloads a primary server from bulky problems of formation of statistics, creation of reports and calculation of indicators.
The response time on state change of the power grid equipment is extremely important for accomplishment of the main objective of JSC MOESK – reliable electricity supply of Moscow and the Moscow region. The management system of a MRO supports acceptance of optimal operational and strategic decisions regarding business processes of maintenance and repairs.
