The SCOUT controls construction of Olympic venues in Sochi

SCOUT Group completed equipment of vehicle fleet of the UMIAT-50 road construction company participating in construction of Olympic venues in Sochi, the System of a satellite GLONASS/GPS of monitoring SCOUT. A system SCOUT is installed on 60 units of cargo transport and special equipment. The universal solution allows to monitor work of different types of vehicles in the conditions of a difficult land relief.

According to the program of preparation of the Olympic Games-2014 in Sochi, till December, 2012 about 218 objects should be constructed. In the region modern engineering infrastructure and communications is almost "from scratch" created. Many contractors occupied in this construction are faced by a problem of control of effective work of the used special equipment. The Moscow company "UMIAT-50" providing special equipment and cargo transport for construction of Olympic venues in Sochi made the decision to equip the vehicle fleet with the Control system of transport and accounting of fuel SCOUT.

"When choosing a monitoring system solutions of 7 companies were considered. Based on testing of different control systems of transport we stopped on a System SCOUT. The main reasons of the choice – quality, convenience, visualization and functionality of the dispatching program SCOUT and also reliability and accuracy of a system. Thanks to a System SCOUT there was a significant cutting of costs for transport services, idle time of construction crews decreased, the probability of unauthorized lack of the equipment on construction objects is excluded", - the chief of technological department of UMIAT-50 LLC Volkov Vadim Gennadyevich notes.

Installation of the GLONASS/GPS System was carried out by specialists of the Moscow Partner of SCOUT Group - Transport Monitoring Systems companies. Today about 60 units of UMIAT-50 special equipment are equipped: dump trucks, excavators, road skating rinks, bulldozers, dredges and loaders.
