The New Technologies company, the SPLA partner of Softline, represents the new service implemented in a private cloud based on products of Microsoft – the portal solution WebEDO.
The Softline company has the status Microsoft SPLA Reseller since 2010 and recently among the few Russian companies successfully confirmed it. Today partners of Softline in the program of cloud licensing of SPLA are more than 100 organizations. Among them – the large holdings using SPLA for licensing of own not affiliated structures; the key system integrators developing private clouds for clients; the companies of the telecom sector offering to users additional public services based on products of Microsoft; and also the independent software developers proposing the solutions on the SaaS model ("software as service").
The program of licensing of SPLA allows the SPLA partner (service provider) to provide to the customers services of access to products of Microsoft both in the SaaS model, and in the IaaS model ("Infrastructure as service"). Thanking the SPLA service provider can develop product-based clouds of Microsoft, ensuring the clients functioning with products of vendor without the considerable financial investments.
As SPLA reseller Softline provides interaction of service providers with Microsoft corporation, rendering to partners information, consulting and marketing support. Softline helps SPLA partner to resolve the issues connected with signing of the license agreement SPLA with Microsoft, the further license reporting and also the legal issues concerning sales of software within SPLA. Softline gives support in planning and business development of service providers, in determination of their own policy in the market.
The product of New Technologies company is the complete and flexible portal solution WebEDO allowing to organize document flow and joint work, file storage and corporate mail and also to conduct project management on a uniform online resource – was announced in October, 2011 and for last months drew attention more than 200 companies. The portal solution is implemented as cross-platform. While in a public cloud it is based on the products Linux, in option of the protected private cloud the solution is proposed based on software of Microsoft that is provided with licensing according to the SPLA program.

The cloud implementation of the solution available thanks to the SPLA program provides to end customers at most of advantages: rapid implementation (process of creation of the portal takes less than a minute and does not require installation on the PC of users) and flexible scaling; automatic update and ease of operation of the solution for lack of hardware incompatibility; availability of the portal from any place where there is an Internet, and from any device having access to Network. At the same time, according to the cloud concept, the solution does not require the capital investments, allowing clients to pay only the actual work with the portal.
