Project management system implementation in MGTS is complete

Proyektnaya PRAKTIKA Group completed implementation of the project management information system (PMIS) for JSC MGTS. As a result of the performed factory jobs unified corporate environment for project management is created and the uniform information field is organized that allows to provide quick access of project participants to up-to-date information. Top management of the company received the convenient instrument of operating control of project activity at the enterprise.

The Corporate System of Project Management (CSPM) constructed on ISUP and the corporate standard on project management allows to build effectively project communications, provides a possibility of the centralized collective work of employees with schedules of projects according to role structure of project management in the Company; gives the chance of planning of accounting of resources on projects; provides control facilities of terms of projects, prepares the operational reporting on the project progress and the register of projects for company management and project managers.

Development of a corporate system of project management at the enterprise was implemented step by step: First of all specialists of Proyektnaya PRAKTIKA Group carried out the analysis of a project management methodology of JSC MGTS, and developed requirements to a system taking into account industry specifics of the customer. On the basis of collected requirements a system was developed, its prototype was approved by key customers from JSC MGTS. Methodical recommendations about work in the system of project managers and staff of project office were separately developed, and the certified coaches of Project PRAKTIKA training center was the training course of key participants of project activity of JSC MGTS is conducted. The obligatory final stage became experienced to operation of a system by specialists of the customer and members of project teams of projects. During real work on the projects they could estimate return and effects of application of the developed system. As the platform of an IT component it was selected by Microsoft EPM 2010 with implementation of own developments of Project PRAKTIKA group for such systems.
