NVision Group (Microsoft Enterprise Project Management (EPM))

NVision Group specializes in implementation of the innovative and technological solutions in the field of creation of information and telecommunication infrastructure and is a permanent supplier of IT services for many largest Russian companies and the state organizations. According to the ratings of 2007, the company is included into TOP-10 of the Russian system integrators and also takes the 17th place among the largest Russian IT companies on business volume. The number of staff of the company – about 500 people.

Increase in number of projects in the conditions of limited resources demanded implementation of the automated control system for projects which would allow to keep the centralized collecting, account and information analysis on labor costs of project participants. With respect thereto in 2005 NVision Group Ltd and Center Implementations TEKORA Ltd signed the agreement on creation of a project management information system.

In NVision Group company there were already elements of a project management system therefore a task "the Center of Implementation TEKORA began to integrate these elements within the uniform IT solution. As such solution the product Microsoft EPM was selected.

Work on implementation of an information system took place in several stages. At first employees "the Center of Implementation TEKORA jointly with specialists of NVision Group carried out requirement analysis to a system and is created technical tasks. Further according to technical specifications setup of functionality of a system, test operation of a subsystem, additional tuning of a system based on test operation and adjustment of the user documentation was made.

Within cooperation of the companies by teachers of TEKORA Training Center corporate training in work with the implemented system was provided. Also for further independent administration of a system, its completion and maintenance from among the staff of NVision Group company of a system technical specialists were trained.

The project management system based on Microsoft EPM in was implemented in the shortest possible time, and already in the first half a year of the functioning confirmed the efficiency.
