" Spectec" booked audit of a management system for maintenance and repair of the equipment of joint stock company" Baltika Brewery, and developed recommendations about its development using opportunities of information technologies.
Joint stock company" Baltika Brewery – the leader of the Russian market of beer. It possesses 11 breweries, including the largest in Russia and Eastern Europe the plant" Baltika St. Petersburg". The company has the developed distribution network and logistics, the railway park of Baltika has more than 1,600 freight cars. Infrastructure of the company includes also malt-houses and regional warehouses, affiliated enterprises and foreign representations.
Locating such extensive production assets, the management of Baltika pays close attention to the organization of processes of maintenance and repair (MRO). Management of the enterprise is interested in increase in controllability and transparency of the processes of a MRO influencing the product cost and performance, ecology and safety of production.
In this regard the Baltika company addressed for consulting services Scientific Production Enterprise" Spectec". The service provision agreement was signed at the end of April, 2011, and so far all works on the agreement are performed. At the first stage consultants of Scientific Production Enterprise" Spectec" held the seminar devoted to the current state of systems and methods of management of a MRO, provided to the Customer standard model of the information management system and also booked audit of the MRO management system operating in the company. The audit purpose – to define, the management system of a MRO of the Customer and in what directions improvements are possible is how perfect.
During audit consultants of Scientific Production Enterprise" Spectec" were guided by provisions of the standards used in world practice such as PAS 55-1:2008, PAS 55-2:2008, SAE JA 1011:2009, SAE JA 1011:2011, ISO 14224:2006 and also standards of the enterprises. According to the results of audit to the Customer the unrolled report is submitted. Expert evaluation of auditors revealed the directions of possible improvements, such as management of reliability, management of risks, MRO system indicators, application of an information system, analysis of failures and idle times, service on a status, management of works of third parties, management of the reference book of Inventories and others.
At the second stage consultants of Scientific Production Enterprise" Spectec" developed technical specifications which contents – recommendations and measures for improvement in the revealed directions, including the recommendation about methodological support of business processes, descriptions of business processes, implementation of requirements to a MRO management system on the basis of use of information technologies, etc.
