2016: A TTK will provide communication channels for the organization of video surveillance in apartment houses of Saransk

The macroregional branch "Verkhnevolzhsky" of TransTeleCom Company (TTK-Nizhny Novgorod) together with non-profit partnership of security of apartment houses (NP OBZhD) Bezopasny dom started implementation of a pilot project on the organization of video surveillance in apartment houses of Saransk, the capital of the Republic of Mordovia.

Within the agreement with NP OBZhD Bezopasny dom TTK-Nizhny Novgorod will provide inter-chip digital links for transfer to the monitoring center of the Safe House organization of data of video surveillance from the cameras mounted at entrances of apartment houses of Saransk. The service is provided based on a city fiber-optical access network of a TTK.

"In Saransk not only traditional services broadband access, cable television and telephone communication, but also the different intellectual services creating the system of the "smart" city allow to give technical capabilities of branched infrastructure of a TTK to the population and the enterprises. Online video surveillance - one of them. We are glad to take part in the important social project which will ensure additional comfort and safety to our subscribers and all residents of Saransk. Today video surveillance is already organized in several multi-storey houses of the city", – the director of macroregional branch "Verkhnevolzhsky" of TransTeleCom Company Anton Puchkov commented.
"Saransk will become one of the first cities of Volga region which residents will get free access to records of video surveillance. Within two years "The safe house" is going to install more than 1000 video cameras at entrances that will allow to cover about a third of apartment housing stock of the city. Without uninterrupted high-speed communication work of all monitoring system and transfer of videoarchives to the population and law enforcement agencies is impossible. We are grateful to a TTK for providing for our project of high-quality communication", – the president of NP OBZhD Bezopasny dom Vladislav Zhukovich noted.

Installation in apartment houses of the systems of the round-the-clock video registration of the access and house adjoining territory within the all-Russian program "Safe House" is performed for the purpose of increase in safety of inhabitants and safety of their property. Access to a video information is provided via the program website.

2011: The TTK organized a video surveillance system on the main square of Saransk

The TransTeleCom company, one of the largest telecom operators in Russia, announces the organization of a video surveillance system at Sovetskaya square of Saransk, the capital of the Republic of Mordovia. The project is performed together with the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) on the Republic of Mordovia within program implementation "The safe city".

The Safe City program is implemented in Saransk since 2010. A main objective of the project is increasing the level of security of citizens. Today in Saransk more than two tens surveillance cameras, monitoring of the image from which helps to monitor a situation in the city, are mounted. Information obtained from cameras allows to identify persons and the vehicles which are wanted, to define traffic offense and public order.

"The safe city" – the socially important project aimed at security in Saransk. We are glad to take part in program implementation", – the CEO TTK Samara, the regional enterprise of Company TransTeleCom, Kolesnik Andrey commented.
"The safe city program is directed to law enforcement in public places of the city. Modern technologies of communication of TransTeleCom Company will allow bodies of police to make this work even more operational and effective. We are going to continue cooperation with a TTK", – the chief of the Center of information technologies, communication and data protection colonel of internal service Ministry of Internal Affairs on the Republic of Mordovia Andrey Shumilin noted.
