iMind in MGIMO

The Mind Labs company signed the agreement on cooperation with MGIMO (U) the MFA of Russia and with the faculty of pedagogical education (FPE) Lomonosov Moscow State University. These educational institutions will be able to use in educational process the iMind software product allowing to carry out video conferences webinars and to work jointly in real time via the Internet.

iMind gives the chance to universities to provide educational services by means of the system of video communication which quality of the video image is comparable with effect of presence. It means that the bigger number of people will have a real opportunity to get quality education, remotely studying in the best universities of the country (it is especially relevant for the inhabitants of the remote regions of Russia, people having any restrictions for resident instruction). Moreover, an opportunity to study at teachers from around the world, to discuss research projects and scientific developments can be given to students of full-time, showing at the same time models, sketches and other three-dimensional materials. New technical capabilities will also allow to provide individual approach to students that will lead to increase in efficiency of learning process.

"Today to all it is already clear that video conference – the integral service for modern university. But quite often the communication quality, alas, leaves much to be desired: the picture gets off, the sound vanishes, there are still some malfunctions. It turns out that communication nominally is, and actually it is absent. We need the working effective system, but not video conference "for the report". For this reason we also decided to stop the choice on a product of MindLabs company", - Nikolay Hristovich Rozov, the dean of faculty of pedagogical education of MSU says.
