Novus QlikView

Project Tasks: Creation of the powerful analytical system allowing analyze the large volume of data "on the fly" and in the shortest possible time to develop new analytical applications with new opportunities.

Project Steps: At first the preproject analysis of opportunities of QlikView and efficiency of systems on the basis of QlikView working in other companies was carried out

Within a month all phases of the main project were completed:

• Processing of technical specifications;

• Development of the Analysis of Sales analytical application;

• Training of staff of network in development tools and administrations of QlikView;

• Start of the solution in operation.

Project Effect: The basic application of a system – Analysis of Sales, allows to receive summary indicators on sales and also to analyze data in the most different cuts, for example on the region, the manager, shop and goods, sales with profound hierarchy: category, line, group of goods. Also the application considers attributes of the analyzed elements, such, for example, as volume unit and weight – for goods and the area – for shops. "The analysis of sales" allows to build ratings on sales and percent of accomplishment of the plan by shops, managers, types of goods and to compare current periods (year, quarter, etc.) to same historical periods.

QlikView mastering in general turned out so successful that Evgeny Trombola, the project manager from NOVUS network, independently could develop the Stock analysis application parallel to the course of accomplishment of the main project.

Thus, within only several weeks the system covering more than 2/3 functional tasks of the solution on the business reporting of SAP BW which is available in the company was created.
