In November, 2011 in Sakhalin Energy company operation of service "the Directory" began PhoneUP. Among the first results of implementation process optimization of internal communication and decrease in load of network engineers are mentioned.
In November, 2011 the PhoneUP Directory software product from BKS-IT company was brought into commercial operation in network of a corporate IP telephony Sakhalin Energy.
The implemented solution attracted, first of all, with opportunities:
- output of expanded information on the calling subscriber when receiving an incoming call both with intra network, and from the external device;
- automatic import of all necessary data on subscribers (full name, position, internal and mobile phones) from Active Directory MS.
It allowed to solve several problems at once:
- increase efficiency of internal communication;
- create the comprehensive and relevant phonebook of the company synchronized with corporate databases;
- exempt network engineers from routine actions for maintenance of the phonebook in current status (before change it was necessary to enter manually at any change in the personnel structure of the enterprise).
As Anton Dubrov, the engineer on service of an information network noted: "The service "PhoneUP the Directory" not only simplified telephone communication between the staff of our organization, but also released time of network engineers, having removed from them work on support of the phonebook".
