The electronic registry will help to cope with queues in hospitals of the Saratov region

Since December 26, 2011 in medical institutions of the Saratov region the system of electronic making an appointment with the doctor works. It became possible thanks to implementation of an information and analytical system "BARS.web and Uniform Registry", the developed BARS GROUP. Implementation and maintenance of a system are performed by the partner of BARS GROUP – IT Expert group.

In the test mode the electronic registry earned in 17 medical institutions of the cities of Saratov, Engels, Balakovo. Employees of registries and system administrators – only about 500 people are trained in work with a system. It is going to complete the project in February, 2012 – by this time it will cover all medical institutions of area. On the official portal of health care of the Saratov region the schedule of doctors which is regularly updated by the staff of registries of all medical institutions of the region will become available.

"BARS.web and uniform Registry" – one of the most popular products of BARS GROUP. With its help nearly half a million patients registered in appointment already, and the number of the created electronic medical records approaches 1 million. A system allows to solve effectively a problem of elimination of queues in clinics. The problem is solved with the help of creation of so-called "electronic queue" – a recording system on acceptance via the Internet or the information terminal. The patient selects convenient time from a system, enters numbers of the policy of compulsory health insurance and prints the coupon on acceptance.

Creation of electronic registry in the Saratov region caused a large number of responses in media. The socially oriented project was covered on TVT TV channels, Russia, in the Komsolskaya Pravda newspaper, online editions.
