The Shum program 'is intended 2011 for calculations of protection against noise, for ensuring allowable sound pressure and the sound levels in premises, in workplaces, in process and auxiliary buildings and on platforms of industrial enterprises, in premises of residential and public buildings and also in the residential territory of the cities and other localities.

In the Shum program '2011 calculation of distribution of sound power for network of channels and air ducts according to Section 8 Construction Norms and Regulations of II-12-77 is made, decrease in the octava sound power levels is considered:
in direct sections of air ducts (item 8.17, item 8.18), in turns (item 8.19), at change of transverse section (item 8.20), in branchings (item 8.21), as a result of sound reflection from the open end of an air duct or a grid (item 8.22).
Influence of the mufflers installed on noise makers and sections of channels of air ducts is considered. Can be noise makers in network as fans, conditioners, etc. inzhenerno technology equipment, and the noise getting into network through grid openings of premises and territories.

Ring propagation paths of noise are calculated.
The database containing characteristics of noise makers, mufflers, noise-absorbing facings, piece noise absorbers, parameters of isolation of noise by walls, windows, overlappings is supported. Editing and replenishment of base is possible.
In this version the program allows to create structure and contents of the database on a discretion and needs of the user.
The analysis of the existing databases provided in other programs shows that they give very average or outdated indicators on noise. Therefore the decision to develop editors of calculation of noise performances who allow to consider or select to the user all components in the context of specific calculation, the equipment, materials and technologies is made.
For territories the graphics editor which allows to calculate the sound pressure level on all area of the territory taking into account cross impact of noise makers is implemented. Point, linear, vulgar noise makers are supported.
Calculation of shielding according to Construction Norms and Regulations is implemented (for one building / screen). Editing the territory is possible in "flyby mode": all data entered in the graphics editor are available to manual entry and vice versa.
Calculation of sound attenuation in the territory of in accordance with GOST 31295.2-2005 is also implemented (Part second, ISO 9613-2:1996): distribution of a sound in the territory taking into account several screens (the building, green plantings, a land relief), sound attenuation because of influence of the earth, atmospheric parameters. In the graphics editor the possibility of data entry from a graphic underlying cause is implemented.
The separate Acoustics program 'is developed 2011 for calculation of acoustics of halls.
