2023: Company Liquidation Decision
On September 27, 2023, it became known about the liquidation of the Godovalov company. The decision was made at an extraordinary general meeting. The notice of liquidation appeared in the SPARK-Interfax database.
According to Vedomosti, Mikhail Berezkin, General Director of Partnership Stroy, Farmexpert and Medpharm Express, owned by Godovalov, will be responsible for the liquidation procedure.
DSM Group Director Sergei Shulyak considers Godovalov to be one of the largest pharmaceutical distributors in the regions - the company has representative offices in 37 regions of the Russian Federation. The company has logistics centers in Perm, Sholokhovo, Kirov, Tyumen, Novosibirsk.
However, in the first quarter of 2023, the company's financial situation deteriorated sharply - Godovalov ceased to fulfill its obligations under contracts, and in 2023 the company received 204 claims totaling 2.1 billion rubles. The largest debt of the pharmaceutical distributor is to the supplier of drugs "Pulse." The company is trying to recover more than 1 billion rubles from Godovalov.
It is important to note that Godovalov is currently participating in legal proceedings in which the company can be declared bankrupt. The lawsuit against Godovalov was filed by Eurocep, and Sberbank joined it.
According to Danil Bukharin, a lawyer at Forward Legal, the liquidation procedure is directly related to the bankruptcy lawsuit - in the event of liquidation, interested parties can appoint a person loyal to the debtor as manager, while in the "bankruptcy" procedure this is much more difficult to do. Thus, Godovalov's benificiars reduce the risk of bringing themselves to subsidiary liability.[1]
