Toy Store will undertake ERP "in an adult way"

"Toy Store is the Center", the head company of Toy Store Group, started creation of the full-function information management system by retail network "Toy Store" on the basis of Oracle Retail. The consortium of Kvazar-micro companies [1] (file) and Accenture will act as the partner in implementation.

According to the Russian representative office of Oracle, the created system "it is unique on the width" will also have to cover all assortment number of retail chain stores, maintaining at the same time the different principles of management of groups of goods. Olga Belovolova, the head Oracle Retail of representative office of Oracle CIS, called the implemented project  the first Oracle Retail project in the sector of collection goods of Russia and the CIS.

The choice of the platform of automation took place within tender in which the SAP solutions Retail and Microsoft Dynamics AX were also considered.

According to the CEO  of The Toy Store — the Center company Maxim Entyakov, the project investment cost on system implementation of management, including services and licenses, makes about 5 million dollars. The program of conversions is expected two and a half years and will affect all key business processes of the company. Creation of the unified information system and unification of business processes of retail chain stores, a possibility of detailed forecasting and sales planning, ensuring timely acceptance and execution of management decisions will become a project deliverable.

At the first stage the centralized system of accounting of the movement of goods, retail sales, control of deliveries and the analysis of results will be implemented. Also the financial module including control of use of means, a possibility of operational collecting receivables and the accelerated formation of financial results for the purposes of managerial accounting and tax accounting will be implemented.
