Implementation of APCS of bitumen plant
APCS Bitumen plant implemented. Kirishi Refinery The company Circle announced this on July 17, 2023.
APCS is implemented on the basis of software and hardware (software and hardware complex) KRUG-2000 (CAS KRUG-2000).
The project was carried out within the scope of technical re-equipment of the enterprise's bitumen plant with partial replacement of equipment.
APCS of bitumen plant 19/10 is a three-level distributed system with multi-stage protection against failures, providing high reliability. Additional measures to protect against cyber attacks and unauthorized access are integrated into the system.
All AWS and servers operate on the basis of the Russian SCADA KRUG-2000. Process status data is promptly transmitted to the factory network via the industrial firewall.
The control room and the workstation of the APCS engineer are equipped with premium control furniture manufactured by TECHNOCONSOL.
KRUG has developed and installed control cabinets, supplied APCS equipment, engineering and commissioning works.
NPF KRUG has been cooperating with this enterprise since 1997. During this time, on the basis of standard technical solutions, a number of automation systems of various complexity were introduced, including: APCS GFU workshop No. 6, APCS PST-1 workshop No. 46, APCS mixing diesel fuels.
In the second half of 2023, it is planned to upgrade the APCS of the gasoline mixing unit based on PAK PTK KRUG-2000.
Modernization of the APCS of the fuel mixing tank farm of PST-1 Kirishi Refinery
Work was carried out to modernize the APCS fuel mixing tank farm of the PST-1 plant. Kirishi Refinery (KINEF LLC) The company Circle announced this on January 30, 2023.
KINEF LLC produces all types of fuel, products that are in great demand petrochemical in and paints and varnishes, industries at household chemicals enterprises construction and in the industry. The level of automation of technological processes as of January 2023 exceeds 85%.
The automated fuel mixing system of the Kirishi refinery has been operating on the basis of the KRUG-2000 software and hardware (software and hardware) complex (PAK PTK KRUG-2000) for almost 20 years. During this time, expansion, modernization and maintenance of the existing APCS PST have been repeatedly carried out.
As part of the current project, work was carried out to replace TGD level gauges with Vega level gauges.
NPF KRUG has been operating at this enterprise since 1997. During this time on the basis of standard technical solutions a number of works is executed, among them: Industrial control system of GFU of shop No. 6, industrial control system of PST-1 of shop No. 3, industrial control system of mixture of diesel fuels, industrial control system of L-35-11/600, control system L-35-11/300, L-24/6, L-24-9/2000, AVT-6 installations.
2020: Retrofitting with gas control devices
On March 27, 2020, Krug announced that the APCS of the Kirishi Oil Refinery Fuel Mixing Park (PST) was expanded by introducing a gas pollution monitoring subsystem in order to improve the safety level of the plant.
As part of the project, the PST is retrofitted with gas monitoring devices distributed throughout the plant. The gas monitoring subsystem collects and processes data, as well as monitors the state of gas contamination. Stahl controllers are used as remote data collection USOs. Data exchange between the main controller of CAS KRUG-2000 and Stahl controller is performed using Modbus protocol via redundant communication channels.
"PO" Kirishinefteorgsintez "(part of PJSC" Surgutneftegas ") produces all types of fuel, as well as products for the petrochemical, paint and varnish industry and the construction industry. The level of automation of technological processes of the enterprise exceeds 85%.
KRUG has performed the following works:
- development of design documentation
- engineering works
- installation works on site
- commissioning with Stahl representatives.
2011: Expansion of APCS of diesel fuel mixing
At the installation of the PST-1 workshop No. 3 of Kirishinefteorgsintez LLC (Kirishi), work was carried out to expand the APCS for mixing diesel fuels based on the KRUG- 2000™ CAS.
KINEF LLC is a generally recognized leader in wholesale trade in the North-West of Russia and produces all types of fuel, products that are in great demand in the petrochemical and paint industries, at household chemicals and in the construction industry. The installed capacity for oil processing is 19.8 million tons per year.
APCS is PST-1 constantly developing and expanding. The pilot project in 1999 was the introduction of the APCS of the diesel fuel mixing unit. The work was continued in 2001 with the introduction of a gasoline mixing unit control system. In 2006, a control system for the introduction of additives into diesel fuel was put into operation.
The expansion of the APCS this year was carried out in connection with the modernization of the light oil mixing fleet to ensure the production of fuel with ultra-low sulfur content and compliance with the requirements of the technical regulations of the Russian Federation for compliance with the YeVRO-4 standard.
Functions · Information: measurement and control of the parameters of the consumption of additives introduced into the prepared fuel, provision of data on filling of tanks to the operational and maintenance personnel, formation of alarms, data archiving, etc. · Control: process protection and interlocks, regulation, remote control of actuators · Auxiliary: diagnostics of CAS equipment, correction of the system time of APCS subscribers, protection against unauthorized access to the local APCS network, etc.
Features · Control of metering pumps using speed variators · Measurement of level and temperature of petroleum products in tanks by Valkom multi-parameter TGD sensors connected to PCS via interface communication lines · Calculation of Mass and Volume of Petroleum Products in Tanks · Data transfer to the plant APMS.
KRUG has been cooperating with Kirishinefteorgsintez LLC since 1997. During this time, a number of projects were introduced, including: APCS GFU workshop No. 6; APCS PST-1 workshop No. 3; APCS L-35-11/600; Monitoring systems for L-35-11/300, L-24/6, L-24-9/2000, AVT-6 installations.
