Stepov Victor Vasilyevich

Victor Stepov was born in the city of Podporozhye of the Leningrad Region.

Education

• In 1975 entered the Petrozavodsk railway technical school. In 1976 it was called in ranks of the Soviet Army. In 1978, on the termination of service, continued study in the Petrozavodsk technical school of railway transport which ended in 1980.

• In 1986 graduated from the Leningrad institute of engineers of railway transport, in "electrification of railway transport".

• In 1994 V. Stepov got second higher education at the St. Petersburg state transport university in "economy and the organization of railway transport".

Career

• Working career there began the mechanic on repair of the rolling stock of locomotive depot Leningrad-passenger - Moscow Oktyabrskaya Railway. After the termination of technical school Petrozavodsk, the power manager of Kandalashsky section of power supply of Oktyabrskaya Railway worked as the assistant driver of a locomotive of locomotive depot.

• Since 1987 worked in the Murmansk distance of power supply as the senior power manager and the deputy chief of the Murmansk distance of power supply of Oktyabrskaya Railway.

• 1992-1994 – the deputy chief engineer of the Murmansk department of Oktyabrskaya Railway.

• 1994-1997 - the chief economist - the deputy chief of the Murmansk department of Oktyabrskaya Railway.

• 1997-1999 – the chief of economic service of Oktyabrskaya Railway.

• 1999-2004 - the chief economist – the deputy chief of Oktyabrskaya Railway.

• The order of January 31, 2004 it is appointed the chief of Oktyabrskaya Railway – Russian Railway branch of JSC.

Interesting Facts

According to the newspaper Vedomosti, Victor Stepov is a favourite on a post of the governor of Murmansk region.
