Rostelecom signed the contract for operation of infrastructure of "the electronic government" in the Irkutsk region

Rostelecom and the government of the Irkutsk region signed the public contract on rendering services in operation of infrastructure of Electronic government and ensuring interaction of information systems and information resources of executive bodies of the government of the region using the system of interdepartmental electronic interaction.

Under the terms of the signed contract, Rostelecom unrolled for residents of the Irkutsk region the regional portal of the public and municipal services available to the address 38.gosuslugi.ru and also provided functioning of regional infrastructure of Electronic government of the Irkutsk region in the round-the-clock mode. It became possible thanks to own telecommunication infrastructure (Internet access, VPN channels, resources of a data processing center) with ensuring personal data protection of users of the portal and rendering the round-the-clock consulting user support of regional infrastructure of Electronic government of the Irkutsk region by uniform number 8 (800) 100-70-10.

Electronic government is the new form of interaction of authorities and the population providing more operational and convenient receiving public services through the uniform Internet portal. Now, receivers of public services, citizens and legal entities, will not spend a great lot of time for collecting of necessary documents and idle time in huge queues, bypassing numerous organizations and offices", – the director of the Irkutsk branch of Rostelecom Oleg Shirshov emphasized.
